Conservationists have been hard at work in the United states for over a century, with the emergence of the Conservation Movement taking place during the presidency of Theodore Roosevelt. President Roosevelt was a leader in the movement and fought to put an end to the waste of natural resources.
With the growth of Big Businesses and Corporations, awareness for the movement grew and is still prominent today.
